One of the highlights of this year 2022 in our company – Ororo Experience, was to get involved and participate in events with other coffee industries.
But before we go deeper to that, it all started in 2006 in Switzerland, the first World competition for Cup Taster. A triangulation system is used to determine the sensitivity to barely perceptible variation in coffee characteristics. It’s the method of comparing each cup with the same coffee to identify the uniformity of the coffee for quality control purposes.
Refill Cup first throw-down cup taster in UAE – It’s one of the most awaited competitions in the coffee industry after the pandemic. Wherein 200+ competitors from the barista communities, as well as coffee industries, joined the said event.
It was co-presented by Ororo Experience as one of the major sponsors of this event, we are one of the representatives of coffee green beans from East Africa. Along with Le Pre of Al Ain City and Ritual Cafe.
The event was held in Refill Headquarters, Hili Industrial Area, Al Ain City Abu Dhabi UAE last summer August 28, 2022. Winners of the Refill Cup Tasters were rewarded with three categories and the ultimate champion Sherryl Inocencio, won 10,000 and cash, a trophy, a certificate, and some good merchandise items from the following sponsors. And it was such an honor for us to present the reward for 2nd runner-up.
