The Uganda side is the rain shadow, receiving a large amount of rainfall which is very conducive to coffee growth. These are specially handpicked coffee. Mostly it’s grown by smallholder coffee farmers who live on the slopes of Mount Elgon Bordering Kenya such as Bukalasi, Bududa District.
